We found Lucy tied to the phone booth outside Grateful Dog. She was cold, hungry, and appeared to be in heat but was very sweet and seemed otherwise healthy.We took her to Del Paso Vet Hospital and she was diagnosed with a prolapsed vulva caused by ovarian cysts. She needed a $1200 surgery, which Del Paso Vet hospital did for only $300. A couple days later, she was diagnosed with parvo. The parvo treatment is ~ $1200-$1500. Del Paso Vet has once again agreed to reduce the cost to $800-$1100.We are asking for small contributions to help cover her vet bills. Any little bit helps!We will foster Lucy until she is healthy and then we will work to find her a forever home.
